    Getting started?

    Hello there!

I'm glad to have finally been accepted, but now I guess I have the general question of how to get started. Is there a tutorial somewhere,or..?

If you are looking to get started creating levels for Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II, there are a whole bunch of tutorials linked from the main page: https://www.massassi.net/. Click the tutorials section. Probably first check out the "basics" section as well (https://www.massassi.net/basics/). All the tutorials reference an editor called "Jed" but the source for Jed was released and a newer version was released called Zed so you'd want to download that instead. It's basically the same with some improvements (but they don't change the fundamentals, it's still mostly the same).

I looked through some of the tutorials I wrote way back when and found some that looked good for beginners (after the "basics" and the "saving correctly" one). Maybe try these:
