Thrawn, I don't think Tom Cruise has the Real Ultimate Power. I'm sorry, but I just can't see him flipping out.

I would like to see him try and kill himself with a frisbee though.

Saw it tonight. Amazing movie. The audience actually clapped. That doesn't happen with many movies. I did not expect it to be this good at all. Tom Cruise needs to win a reward for this.

I just love how people are going on about how none of the movies made in Hollywood are 100% non-fiction. Um, I don't know if anyone has notices, but IT'S HOLLYWOOD PEOPLE! They aren't known for their documentaries. They are a pure entertainment industry.

Man: All of them.
Woman: *gasp* Well, I've been sleeping with your best friend Jake!
Man: Yeah, well me too! And I've been sleeping with your dog Woofy!
Woman: Woofy?! You *****! Well, I'm also sleeping with your pet goat!
Man: That goat doesn't love you.............

Saw the movie this afternoon. Much better than I expected. It's one of the few good movies that Tom Cruise didn't ruin by acting in it. If you haven't seen it, you should.

Huh? Do you have a special meter to measure all of those attributes in movies or something?

Great movie, definately worth my time and money, and no I am not saying this cause I like the whole Samurai stuff. My gf even liked it, and the ending did kind of surprise me.

I thought he over-acted a little, especially compared to the Japanese actors. At least homage was payed to Akira Kurosawa.

the guy who played Katsumoto, in my opinion, stole the spotlight from Cruise [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif]
his acting was superb.

of course Taka was the best just because she's a pretty japanese lady (=

Yep that's definitely more right. A martial artist can take out any Joe Smoe anytime (providing he was taught properly). This movie sounds good, but I'll wait for it to come on DVD. I'm mostly waiting for Return of the King.

I thought Katsumoto was the same guy who played Ricky Tan in Rush Hour 2, they sounded exactly the same.

No, it's just a bit more comfortable at home watching DVDs. I only go out to the theater for movies I have been highly anticipating. The last movie I saw was Revolutions.
