Actually, it wasnt Prowse the entire time. For the ben vs. vader fight in ANH it was the sword coordinator from LOTR. Maybe some othrt fight scenes, too.

Anakin has to wear the armor because he got thrown into a pit o' lava during his battle with Obi-wan. I heard this a while ago after Episode I came out. This might have been a false leak just to throw people off but it could be a possibility in Episode III.

The lava swim DOES happen. It's on the planet called Mustafar, a volcanic world acting as the last base of operations for the separatist leaders. Anakin goes there on a secret mission for Palpatine, and after he kills them, is confronted by Padme and Obi-wan. Padme is mortaly injured by accident, and Obi-wan and Anakin battle it out to the death.

no, it's not spy reports. If you read the novilisation of RotJ it almost details the incident. ObiWan tells Luke that his father and Darth Vader fell into the pit, in escence killing his father, but Vader clawed his way out when Palpatine's ship landed, and ObiWan fled into the forest.

Later, Vader recalls the feeling of the lava crawling up his back.

Yeah and for any of you who have played GBG: The Clone campains, one of the final missions involves going to a volcanic world where you see anakin leave in a mysterious ship.
