...have the forums really gone downhill in the past month or so? Just wondering.

For me it goes in waves. Like one week nothing on the forums interests me, but the next week I can't stop posting. And so on and so forth.

No, the forums have been going down hill since 2001

When I joined in '99 and crept around in '98, everyone was so nice. '00 everyone was nice, '01 still nice...I guess. then '02 all the jerks started acting like themselves. now it's horrible. All the n00bs and 10 year olds and older people who think they are so much cooler then all of us.

rod-nog... recently you've decreased this type of behavior but before that for a while, you tended to put a lot of BS onto the boards...

But yes. the past month or two have been sort of blah.

Just the "Post yours" threads that are pointless. "Post your carpet lint", etc. Play lists is one thing cause you might find some cool songs.

Well, we've had more threads from a person I won't name than we've ever had. There seems to be a lot of trolling going on.

And maybe this post is flamebait that I'll be banned for. I feel like voicing my opinion, even if I have to sacrafice the class I used to have. Maybe I'm the real troll all along. *shrugs*

I wouldn't mind seeing another pugler. It saddens and amuses me that he was back the day after it was lifted - he must just hang around trying to post and yelling 'wtf' every time it tells him "address is banned."

Being banned must have shattered his entire existence.

We've talked about everything we can at least twice (look at the "post your picture" threads for example) and they just doesn't seem to be anything interesting happening in real life.

There's been a distinct lack of serious debating recently. Maybe those Iraq threads soured everyone or something, but I cant remember the last time I spent half an hour reasearching something on google for a post here.

It's been slowly going downhill for a long while now. People are growing up. Some of them leave, while others get drunk every other night. It's just not the same anymore.

yeah, just check over that recent age count thread... the average age of a massassian seems to be going up at a noticeable rate... most people are 16-19 now, whereas a few years back, it was more like 12-15

See, I would agree. But I think most people are starting to realize that 90% of the people here are so stubborn, that anything you say won't matter. Which is why I add my 2 cents, then just don't read what hapens after.
