Mohammed was a camel. When they wanted him to stop, they'd shout "Whoa, Mohammed!"

138 sounds a lot for a tank caliber... I thought it wasn't till later on that German tanks got up to even 88mm anyway?

13.What weapons were responsible for the London Blitz. (Many bonus points for this next one) What was the german name for these?

I thought the london blitz was considered to be the ~1940 period? The V1 and V2 weren't used until something like 1943 and even later for the V2 and were more of a psychological weapon than a "blitz" due to their small numbers.

So I'd go for Dornier Do.17, Junkers Ju.88 and Heinkel He.111

Hmm, never heard mention of that in Spike Miligans autobiographies hehe. Dunno, might have something to do with them having to fight the Iraqis(pretty damn sure) at one stage(been a while since I've read "The Road to Mandalay").

The answer to the Tiger tank calibre was 88mm, and yeah 138 is too big for that time. 120 - 156 was for the later Russian tanks and tank destroyers!

ANSWER THIS THEN -

"What was then name of the German General whose last name is the name of a planet in Star Wars?"

Hmm. It is certainly the most simple assumption that the rude AT weapon would have been named to honour Molotov, the Soviet statesman. However, if you study the matter more deeply, this is what you will come up with:
Quote:
The antitank weapon called a Molotov cocktail was not named to honor Molotov. Although how it was so dubbed is a matter of dispute, it is believed to have been named by the Finns during the Russo-Finnish War of 1939–1940 as a satirical honor for their antagonist–a cocktail for Molotov.

This is from A New Dictionary of Eponyms. Morton S. Freeman. Oxford University Press, 1997 for reference...

So you want new questions aye... Well here are three.

16.When were the first paratroopers utilized? By who?

17.How long was the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising?

18.What was the first naval battle not involving ships?

19.What Italian(hint) Moutain was also known as "Mount Misery"?

Easy Company took out a number of Flak cannon shelling UTAH beach. And took a few casuaties (2 dead 1 injured (poor Popeye)).

True, that battle didn't involve contact by the ships, but it certainly wasn't the first. The Japanese ships were nowhere near Peral Harbor. Offhand I don't think that was the first either, but I don't remember just what was.

20. What aircraft carried the largest calibre weapon on any american aircraft(not going to say any nation as those russians got up to funky stuff)?

21. What was the name and weight of the largest allied(and probably the largest of the war) bomb?

Here's a good one;

22. Prior to the Sänger Amerika-Bomber's construction(which obviously never went beyond a wind-tunnel model), what was the Reich's designated nuclear bomber?

20. (easy) What is the kriegsmarine?

21.What plane is also known as the "sky-train"?

22.What does G.I. stand for? (GI Joe becomes funny after you figure it out)

23.What battle is known as the "Longest Day"?

24.What was the most produced Armored vehicle during the war?

25.On what ship was the first "Vengence Weapon" used on? Where? What was it's destination?

It was actually General Issue, cos most grunts didn't like the idea that they were conscripts. It was just General Issue.

And that picture is from the Vietnam War. Its made from a piccie of US soldiers pushing Hueys off the ships to make more room for the incoming ones, I think!

Im not griping, I was making an interested observation!

Molotov didn't invent the Cocktail that bears his name.

Variations of the Molotov Cocktail have been getting tossed around for nearly 500 years. The First reported case of it being used was during the Siege of Vienna in the 1560s. The Turks lost something like 2,500 men to Austrian Molotov Cocktails like things...
