So? You can still go to the original Lucas Arts JK site and find a JK demo.

Play ALL of the Metal Gear games. The ones for the NES and MSX included.

Especially Metal Gear Solid, you will probably like the story...

I too, highly recommend No One Lives Forever 1 and 2. I've played both of these, and I find them to be one of the best FPS I've ever played.

I love it because you can pretty much go stealth, or just blow everything away. Going all out action is a bit harder though, and I like that.

If I remember, both Thief and Thief II were made in 1999... That's not too long ago, as demonstrated by the prevailence of JK here...

I believe that Thief was 1998, and Thief 2 was 2000.

Try hard to get it working. It's worth it. Or wait for Thief 3. To me Thief is the game that made stealth-games popular. And it's much better than DeusEx ore SplinterCell, IMHO in the stealth part (what the whole game is all about).
The best thing about Thief (more so Thief 2) that you can play through the whole game without killing anyone. It's great. On the expert-difficulty setting you aren't even allowed to kill anyone.
Ahhhhhhhh I can't wait for Thief 3!

Hmm, good point. I can only assume that JK acquired a larger following than Thief did.

And? I never said Thief wasn't popular.

[edit: Just to clarify, my statement was based on the availability of the demos for both games]

Get Thief Gold & 2. Now.
