Hmmm...it's interesting, women are 3 times more likely to attempt suicide, but 4 times as many men die from suicide than women...we are ruthlessly efficient beasts aren't we?

Where did you get those stats? It sounds to me it's more an issue of not really wanting to die or gutlessness than "efficiency".

Sociology article my professor gave me. Women tend to swallow pills, so they die pretty or can be saved if someone finds them, men tend to use guns.
