Hmm, was it in B-Wing Attack or the other addon from X-Wing? Because there's no movie like that in the vanilla DOS version

I think the other addon was called "imperial something"

DF was/is my favorite game of all time. The only other game to come close was JK.

I was actually sitting in bed last night thinking about how cool JK was back in the day...

I am not sure if anyone else has this, but on the back of my JK CD case it shows a pic of what seems to be a rail det shooting a tie fighter. It looks like different from the rail det used in the game, but you can still see the ammo.

Yeah, I was also wandering that someday. And I have never been able to get to the Tie Bomber before it flew away.

And I also get some really strange emotions when I am thinking the true JK-days. Even the days few years ago were great. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif]

I remember seeing that shot before JK even came out and getting all excite because I though that the TIE Bomber was going to be one of the bosses in the game and that you would have to fight it.

I don't think so. I remember plugging many rail detonators into that ship while it was flying away, like that pic on the CD cover, but it didn't blow up. Besides, if you had blown it up it wouldn't be there to bomb you after you defeat Yun. Well, I guess it could be a different Tie Bomber, but, yeah.

No. You can, however, destroy the bomber in level 10 (or whatever the level after Yun is, where it bombs you)...

Yeah, Jon's right. level 6 is the first level you see the tie bomber flying away and it can't be destroyed. on level 8, when it's night and you're on top of the towers, if you have the aim.. and time, you can take down the tie bomber.

the first level you see the TIE bomber in is level 1 but that's most likely the one that Jan blows to hell... but it's still a TIE Bomber
