Seems like everyone claims to be irish on St-Patrick's day, just because their great-great-great grand uncle married an Irish lass. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif]

So I was wondering, how many of you have some irish blood?

I'm partly scandanavian, mostly Scottsh, with some English and Irishness mixed in.

My great-grandparents on my mother's side were Irish immigrants, I believe. I'm not sure about my father's side, however.

Mostly French, my dad's side of the family left France when the Huguenots were being persecuted and such. My mothers side of the family is pretty much all Irish. So Im like.. Half French/Half Irish

I'm a complete mutt, but I have some Irish blood in me along with Italian, English, Scottich, Welsh, Freanch, Dutch, Albanian and Delaware Indian. Probably left some other stuff out.

My..... *takes a breath* Great Great Great Great Great grandfather was Irish from my fathers side, so I have a spec of irish in me, and my mothers side are from Scotland originally... Guess i'm solid UKish.

2/3-3/4 Scottish/Irish, rest is English. Though had a few ancestors from Novia Scotia along there as well.

100% Irish. I'm also considered a foriegn-born national of Ireland due to their citizenship policy, influenced by mass emigrations in the past. Both my grandmothers were born in Ireland, my Dad's side of the family has been in America since before the Civil War though.

[edit]Oh and that's Gaelic-Irish, not Scotch-Irish.

Well, I'm Spanish, Greek, English, Bermudian, and Portuguese. I think I've probably got some Scottish or Irish related to the English side, but I don't know for sure. I'm just some mutt too I guess.

I have no Irish in me. I've check the family tree. The most prominate being German. I have a smattering of other including, I'm told, of some Native American.

My grandmother's parents were Irish immigrants. (that's my mom's side)

My dad's side, my great grandfather's dad was Scottish and came here and married and Irish woman.

I know I'm English, German, and probably some Cherokee, but I've got an Irish name. My first name is Daniel and my middle name's Patrick. Those are a couple of good Irish names only to be diluted by a good British last name. Supposedly that name has Danish roots, though. Mmm...Danish...

I'm scottish/maltese, so somewhere down the scottish side there must be irish, but I don't consider myself anything irish.
