I'm proud to be a quarter Jew.

Looks like we're not going down after all, so nevermind.

I'm proud of my semi-geeky knowledge of the Star Wars universe.

I'm proud to be an American, but that has absolutely nothing to do with the American landmass. I don't want to come across as slighting other countries, but there is something about America's essense that other countries simply do not have. America is the only country in the world to have been founded on a universal idea, not a shared cultural identity, language, religion, or any other such limiting factor.

I am insanely proud of the fact that an Italian, Mexican, Somali or Saudi can become a citizen and instantly be just as American - in every sense of the word - as his neighbor whose familiy has lived here since 1800, and I make no apologies for it.
A desperate disease requires a dangerous remedy.

A major source of objection to a free economy is precisely that it gives people what they want instead of what a particular group thinks they ought to want. Underlying most arguments against the free market is a lack of belief in freedom itself.

I'm proud of my pride. It's really quite remarkable pride.

I'm proud of nothing.....although I will be proud of whoever makes a "I'm proud to be a Massassian" song.
