So far my favourite thing is the fact when you reply, it takes you back to the last page that your reply is on, instead of the first page.

Yep. I was gonna say that too - it's all good so far though I must say. When I first looked at the forums last night I thought my eyes were going to bleed, but now, things look really smart.

C'mon, Det. We don't have to have the new forum look identical to UBB. There have been some improvements made since UBB, ya know? :)

A bit of green tint, maybe an outline or something...just that plain white seems a little boring to me.

not everything on massassi is green

and by that I mean, if you use colour sparingly rather than as much as possible, it looks better because it's not overused.

I like Det's icons.

I'd further like to note that if we switched the "new post" indicators on the forum index back to the old UBB lightbulbs, it'd take little to no effort, and it'd look better than the stupid vB ones.

I really like det's icons as well... just those, I think the ones with words on them look great colored... just the folder open/close ones look good instead of the stupid checkmark thingy that vb supplies (what is that anyway?).

I think these should stand out more. Making the white parts green might work. Or you could put a black dot on them, like in the original icons.

The new forums look really nice.

I liked the old sytem, but the new system just looks more modern, who cares if the new featues are disabled, it's not the features that makes the forums.

Bringing them into the new milenium just makes it look better!

Small note -- the "hot topic" icons still show up in place of folders for hot topics in the user CP subscription list. It doesn't really matter, though.

BTW, just wanted to add Brian that don't go overboard and take out TOO much stuff and make exactly like the old forum - that would make the upgrade rather pointless, IMO.

I like how we can see how many views each thread gets. So, if I were to post a thread on the showcase forum, and it'd get 400 views, 0 replies, and it'd sink to the bottom in record-setting time, I'd know that it really sucks. :)

Also kinda neat to see the number of lurkers skulking around.
