The EU, the Antichrist and the end of the world..

I've never really liked the EU. Mainly because of the Euro.

But there's nothing antichristitic about it, however much meaning people want to read into it.
Hey, Blue? I'm loving the things you do. From the very first time, the fight you fight for will always be mine.

Euro is one of the few things that make me like EU (to some degree)...

I am generally quite dissapointed by anti-Euro campaigners in Britain. While there are three very good reasons to not join the Euro, anti-Euro campaigners usually avoid all of them and go for the awful 'patriotism' line. The whole "the £ is old and therefor it's good!". Britain changed currency only 30 years ago, so it's no big deal really.

And anyway, joining the Euro or not isn't really a choice. All countries in the EU must join the Euro....eventually. Blair is taking full advantage of that last word, but the question is not if but rather when.

As for the war in Iraq being to destabilise the EU... hmmm.. I've never heard that one before. I'm not convinced. Invading a country just to get at Europe seems a bit much.

Yeah... what's your point?

Haven't you ever heard a Christian mention something like the "spirit of antichrist?"

.. But there's only supposed to be one. Spirit of this, wishy-washy that.. when it comes down to it, either Paul's definition was too general or everyone's wrong in assuming there will be only one anti-christ.

Who says there's only going to be one? There's only one that will do what is in Revelation, but that doesn't mean there's only one. ;)

I still don't think that a world government is what we need to worry about. I mean, eventually that will happen, but I'm kinda waiting for something else to happen first before I know that time is almost up for the world to boom.
obviously you've never been able to harness the power of cleavage...
