Me and some mates used to have tri-annual ISS Pro Tourneys on the PS1, and I was a late entry, so all the best teams had been taken. So I pick Croatia, who turn out to be solid in defense, soooo fast, and have a plethora of skilled left footed finshers. I beat everybody, finish top of the league going into the knockout stages and win overall.

That was soooooo much fun , oh and there was the time we hooked up two PS1s and played Doom deathmatches, and my mate phil had stumbled across a rocket launcher, and I took him down with just my pistol by some slinky circle strafing. He was not clapping.


Also, just memories of playing old Mega Drive games, like getting four mates around and playing micro machines. Such fun

I'm in the billiards room with my raging bull, standing infront of a doorway but look in, I'm typing and hear a guy coming up behind me. But I want to finish, knowing that I'll probably get shot.

Right as I finish, he stops walking. I turn my head and for half a second see the face of my friend's custom model RIGHT infront of me. I let loose with my raging bull sending him flying into the wall.




Later in that game, I was playing while listening to Green bird (music at the end of Ballad of fallen angels in Cowboy bebop. The one that plays while spike goes flying out the window.)

And keep in mind, there were a ton of players better then me. I'm in a hallway, one guy comes at me. BAM.

A second later, Two more come at me, BAM BAM. Both dead.


I ended up killing 8 people in a row within 10 seconds at the same room. they kept coming at me. Then I went around and hunted a few more.

Then some guy kicks my gun out of my hand (near the staircase with the elevators) and I kick him a bit, then dive down to grab my revolver. turn around, pull the trigger. right as I click my mouse some guy drops down and kills him. And my bullet goes right through the guy. Owning him instantly.


It was awesome but I've done better.

I completed Minesweeper on Intermediate a few times. I get bored when playing Expert and fall asleep.

DeTRiTiC-iQ just remembered me of another lan party.

Some friends and I rented a YMCA home thing (CVjM here in Germany, I think YMCA is the corresponding thing in the US), we played till about 23:00 and than we went at a 'party' - at the house of a friend's father's company. There was some party for the customers, and we could eat and drink what remained. So there were tons of food and - more important - alcohol :). So we drank something, we were about 10 persons, and even some girls, haha, they came to the LAN Party just because we could go drinking. So about 2 am we were rather drunken, some allready fell from the chairs We went back to our LAN party place, as good as we could. Than we started counterstrike, and I fell asleep. I had my fingers still on the keys to buy an AK47. That remained the only time were I fell asleep while playing. But the others did so, too.

Probably one of my best gaming moments was the other night. We were playing Jedi Academy at the rift. It was me and a friend against three other guys (two pros, one n00b) Anyway, the kill limit was set to 300 and it was at the rift Sanctuary. I went around pwning people left and right. We had the damage to sabers jacked up to where it takes only one or two hits to kill. We still lost, but it was fun as heck.

psh, sabers are for newbs :p

Isn't the Rift Sanctuary one of the ones that everyone hates? Apparantly the only one which people like is Coruscant Streets.
