www.nuklearpower.com - 8-bit theatre. There are others that are great as well, of course, but perhaps the "full-frontal-nerdity" theme that's found throughout them just doesn't appeal to me as much...

Really, I hate the guy who draws it with an unequaled passion. The only reason I ever visted the site was because of Largo, and when he left, I would like to think many others did as well. Fred/Piro is not only overrated, but next to the guy who makes squidi, a whiner without peer. And at least the squidi guy is damn funny.
2004-10-14, 3:03 PM #30
Maybe you are looking at it in the wrong light. It's more of a webmanga. It's not always funny, there is an actual plot. For some people, they don't like this. But I'll tell you what, I love it.

And yeah he whines, so what? He'd be the first to admit it :p

I'm guilty as charged for completely agreeing with Cool Matty about MegaTokyo :D :D. Ok, so there's more of a story-line going on now; the focus being this rather than the flat-out humour of its early days/roots but's it's still a fantastic comic, nevertheless. I'd be involved in their forums more (ie: inclined to join) if some (and I mean "majority") of the forum members weren't a whiny, nitpicking bunch. To be honest, it makes the Massassi forums look like gold-dust in comparison and when I compare the two, there's no contest as to which community I'd rather be a part of :D. But I digress - forum aside, I enjoy reading Fred's rants and the comics do have a subtler sense of humour than they used to, but the humour is there, all the same... :)

I also enjoy PLIF - that's always good for a chortle now and again ;) - shame it's just an archive now, more than anything else, but they do have some crackers :D
