Republican Voter Fraud
2004-10-14, 9:21 PM #41
At this point, I'm not expecting you to accept that the GOP specifically wanted them to cheat. I realize that I don't have the evidence.
I do think at the very least that it's fishy though.

BTW, it wasn't just one person who was saying this. The organization is complicit with the destruction of democratic registration forms.
I doubt it means anything, but to clarify, the GOP didn't just send a little money to them. They funded most or all of the group.

I don't see any flame war. I might have said some heated things, but I think Wookiee and Avenger are groovy people.

You on the other hand, not so much. Now if you aren't going to actually discuss the matter at hand, you can keep your drive-by observations to yourself.

It's hardly a flame war. A heated debate between people who have different opinions on the topic at hand, sure, but we aren't resorting to flaming each other.

Exactly, there is no evidence in those links. The fact that the people are republican and that they work for a company that is funded by the GOP does not mean that the GOP ordered or urged them to cheat by destroying democrats registration forms. Does it sound fishy? Yes, it does. But its quite a leap to automatically say that the republicans are cheating considering there is NO evidence to point out that these people weren't merely acting independently.

There are many groups funded by both sides that don't destroy registration forms. The fact that this one was funded by the republicans doesn't mean that the GOP is ordering it.
Life is beautiful.
