A guy in Aliens: Resurrection has a similar gun holster in his sleeves. For all I know, the makers of Equilibrium might have ripped the idea from that.

Because it must be a sucky movie if I'm doing that, thusly it's not worth enjoying.

You don't see me ripping into Equilibrium's plothole do you? It was an enjoyable movie, thus there are things more important than pointing out it's faults. But when a movie completely sucks, I enjoy ripping into it. Because I couldn't get enjoyment from the movie.

Just like you enjoy ripping into the fact that I rip into something when you could just enjoy my post for being type out appropriately. But you'd rather rip into it...because you don't agree... Ironic, possibly?

It is cool looking, the gun instantly slide out of Preston's hand and made a knife like sound. Despite being a technology from the old West, no one still seems to know how they really work......

The most interesting thing is that Prestons Son who seemed from the beginning like a little monster is one those people who can have emotions even if they are drugged...that was one of the best surprises in the movie

AND IT WAS A G36K...The Gun-Kata Idea is wicked and anyway the action sequences look brilliant especially the final Shootout when he is wearing the white suit. xD
