It's a picture. Looks real enough

Saw it earlier this morning, really reflects the duel in ROTJ more. I imagine it'll end with Anakin making the opposite choice that Luke did. It's legit because it got pulled off TF.n and anyone who posted it was threatened with a ban. :p

Someone probably captured it in a theatre viewing of either some post-production work or a snippet from the teaser trailer.

it would be truly poetic if anakin cuts dooku's arm off at the elbow before killing him.

(Kind of like the inverse of how luke cut off vaders hand but didn't kill him)

Whoa, and here I thought Dooku was going to die of cancer.

From what I've heard he gets several limbs chopped off by Anakin and then decapitated.

lol that would be great hopefully they do it in slow motion Matrix style so you can see every piece of tissue slowly rip away from the body.

Eh, no.

That would annoy the hell out of everyone. Just keep it cool.

no, that would ruin the class of the movie. Besides, lightsabers tend to cauterize wounds, so there wouldnt be too much gore. ( Anakin and luke didn't bleed when they had their hands removed, and neither did that poor tauntaun that Han gutted)

Slow motion has only been used in ONE Star Wars movie and it was a little 10 second sequence. I doubt they'll use it anymore.
I can't think of anything to put here right now.

dont care about every little piece of media that slips out, i'll be content just to see the final product.

Although it's a limited view and low quality, but I think the surroundings over there look a bit like the old trilogy. I guess they might be already tieing the trilogies together.

Heh heh... I agree. I guess that "already" wasn't really necessary in my earlier post :p

I agree with you daft. Unless they are secretly planning another trilogy (which I doubt) this is the last time we will feel the fore so it better be good.

Sorry, I never felt the fore.

Like people said, it looks similar to the RotJ duel. The pic, although low quality, looks good, but I hope it isn't accompanied by lines such as . . .

Obi-Wan: "Oh no, I must stop you, Count Dooku."

Dooku: "Jedi, you will die."

. . . lame like that.

What about the blood left behind by the alien hand Obi Wan slice off in "A New Hope"?

WTF! I may not want to see some new BS lucas spills forth, but I certainly don't want to see RotJ repeated.

That's too bad, because a lot of the fans do. Do us all a favor and don't watch it.

As for the image, it's cool and definitely looks real. I have high hopes for the Ep 2 duels.

I just noticed your title for the first time.

Ya know, the line : "Jedi, you will die." Sounds quite good actually.

But it's a metaphor, and a nice one at that. In EPIII, he falls to the Dark Side. In RotJ, he's saved from it.

Now how is it that I'm doing you all a favor by not watching this? I think I'm about the only starwars fan that looks at this from a cinematic point of view: that shot looks strikingly similar to RotJ. Unless there's some time warp where vader sees this happening in the future the same way, than it's just a gimmick. Gimmicks are bad. Making original movies is good.

It's not a gimmick, it's foreshadowing at it's finest. It's darth Sidious at work, always with a front row seat to the seduction of both the skywalkers. It's also a key to his downfall in Return of the Jedi. He's overly confident that the scheme that won Anakin over to the dark side will also take Luke, but it doens't.

Like Lucas said, he's relating all the films very subtly like a poem, every other scene rhymes with another.

I understand that, and I expected that, and even like that. I DIDN'T however, expect to see THE EXACT SAME SCENE. That's not what I want, and any NORMAL movie-goer wants. We want a movie, not a carbon copy scene.
