Kerry Flip Flops all the time

I really wonder if alot of the people who support Kerry actually support him because of his ideals, or because he's not Bush. It seems more and more people hate Bush each day because it's the popular thing to do. Mostly people from foreign countries, whenever I hear of foreigners bashing Bush, it's not because they're bringing up Kerry ideals that they support...it's because, hating Bush is popular.

If the entire world would vote for Kerry because he isn't Bush, then that future would be pretty weak. These past few months I've seen people at each other's throats just because they aren't a (Democrat/Republican/Etc). You hear about crap like each side getting personally flamed by extremists because they have a different opinion. All of a sudden, opinions are ok to have as long as they're not for Bush.

I really don't give a rat's behind wether or not Kerry or Bush are in the white house, what I'm concerned about is that political sides have been turned into races, and with that comes political racism. People have been so politically racist about the other side that they'll demean and discredit anyone who isn't with them.
Presidential candidates are supposed to be about who can better the country the most, not what side has the most amount.

How far is this country really going to get if people keep using crap like "Get that red neck out of the white house!" What's that helping? That's an embarassment, not only to yourself but to the entire country as well. Unlike most people, I'm not ashamed of this country because some are fat or from a certain part of the country, I'm ashamed of this country because of the people who discriminate people...because of their political side. That. Is. Pathetic.

Before someone blows up at me due to misunderstanding me and saying it happens on all sides (happens alot on here), I'm directing this toward every side there is, but mainly the Dems/Reps.

I wasn't going to say anything about this, but hey - I'd just like to stick up for "foreigners who just hate bush because it's popular". We don't. We're either liberal, or aren't happy with his policies, or like me perhaps, not too keen on his right wing-religious stance - the whole gay marriage thing (not that I want to drag that in) for instance.

Kerry if I'm not mistaken is a liberal, so he gets my (imaginary) vote. I don't vote in our general elections here with a view to electing whoever I "like" the most, or whoever does "better" in public debates (though I admit they are a good idea) - I vote left wing, because I'm a liberal person. Even when (touch wood) I graduate from uni, get a well paid job and command a decent wage, I will still vote liberal despite the fact that I'd be in a higher tax bracket, because I'm a liberal.

Unless the liberals aren't liberal enough, but then, where would you turn...?

I'm pretty sure that anything you've heard about Bush winning Ohio is just spin put out by his supporters. I could be wrong, but I just checked CNN and they hadn't called it.

We probably won't know for quite a while right now, if I'm understanding everything right.

As of 8:48 A.M. ET, Bush had 254 and Kerry had 252 (according to CNN.com). Damn, it's going to be a close one. Iowa, New Mexico, and Ohio have not closed yet, and then they need to count the absentee ballots.

Like... 6 times in this thread admins have posted "keep it civil"...

Isn't the title/original post flamebait/trolling? I'm not gonna jump on it... but come on, LonelyDagger/PnHobbit has been completely ignored since FOREVER, when all he does is provoke democrats in political threads... Why is he ignored?

Well, Ohio has gone for Bush. Bush has a 140,000 vote lead and there are 145,000 uncounted votes. Apparently that’s impossible to surmount. Can we get on with our lives now?

And apparently the republicans control both the house and senate right now.

Bush will have no trouble getting his legislation passed if he wins, and if Kerry wins, he wil have a hard time getting his legislation passed.

Jedigreedo is not completely wrong. There IS a kind of "anti-bush=coolness" wave present in Europe. At least where I live. But I don't think this is the No. 1 reason why most people of foreign countries are against Bush. It's actually more the way Martyn mentioned.
I personally dislike Bush because of his crusader-like attitude. In his eyes, everyone who disagrees with the USA on any point, is a barbarian that must be taught the right way.
Unfortunately, he's not alone. I have learnt that many of his fellow countrymen share this same opinion...

Uh...aside from the very[/b] childish "freedom" bit, what did he do to France? Germany? Russia? To Spain when they withdrew? China?

I'd rather see what Kerry can do than what Bush can do, but I have no vote, because I'm English. And we'll still follow America through thick and thin because of Blair.

Yes, I'm still a little pissed because they called tuition fees on, what was it? Six votes? At least I'm probably too unfit to join the army...
Hey, Blue? I'm loving the things you do. From the very first time, the fight you fight for will always be mine.

I've retyped this several times. Edited version.

I cannot believe the American people have even come close to re-electing George W. Bush. His administration deserved/deserves only contempt.

Hahaha, Kerry flip-flopped again! First he said that he was running for president and now he's conceding! Boy, do I feel silly for voting for him, that flip-flopper.
