. . . has nothing to do with a draft, AT ALL

What makes you all think that there is going to be a draft? Do some of you have insider information of the president?
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

Give me a break. The draft will be the first promise broken if Mr. Madman starts another war. We're stretched too thinly as it is.

Everyone knows that a conscripted military is far more effective than a volunteer force.

I really doubt that is going to happen.

I'll just be waiting until a year from now and the millions of Americans that voted for Bush, begin to complain and whine about him being in office.

Yeah! When we have tr0ops in Afghanastan, Iraq, North Korea, and Iran, I'm sure that the volunteer force will appreciate having to maintain a 200:1 kill/death ratio just in order to win! Past a certain point, it behooves whoever is in command to use conscription in order to save lives.

If Roach gets to put words in my mouth, then I get to have a hypothetical scenario.

I wasn't putting words into anyone's mouth. I'm just trying to sarcastically throw in that the military doesn't like the idea of a draft, it's too much stress on the entire establishment.

That was great! So good to have a president that actually seems like a normal person.

Stupid draft talk again. You realize the democrats were the ones pushing for the draft and republicans were against it. Of course it was all politically motivated. The democrat congressman that authored the bill admonished the republican led house for bringing it up for a vote and then voted against his own failed bill. Hillarious.

I thought that the Republicans started the bill up so that they could end the rumor that a draft was going to occur...

Shopkeeper: But you get your choice of toppings.
Homer: That's good.
Shopkeeper: The toppings contain potassium benzoate.
Homer looks puzzled
Shopkeeper: That's bad.
