Yes...and they all get hard-ons for war...and they all have the same last name...and uhh, yeah...not all of the south are hicks, but here are some real quotes that prove my case.
"What colors yer daddies tractor?" - Some hick in Georgia (My friend that lives in GA got asked this when he was at a hunting competion by a random hick.)
"My daddy shot dis gator right in da face, and den my daddy..." - Some hick in Georgia (My brother and my parents heard this conversation between two hicks in a restaurant when they were in GA.)
"Ice coffee? How do I make that?" - Some hick in Virginia (I heard this from some hick that worked at a Doughnut shop...They sell 'iced coffee' not 'ice coffee'... I can TOTALLY understand how she didn't understand me...wow.)
"We should've just nuked all them Iraqi countries before they attacked New York." - Some hick in Arkansas (I saw this on an interview on TV...just amazing)
"I'm voting for George W. Bush." - The South (I rest my case.)
Another time my father ordered a coffee from another doughnut shop..."2 sugars, 1 cream, decaf" so the lady makes the coffee and says "Oh shoot, I poured decaf" and she then throws the coffee in the trash..My dad says "No, that was right..decaf." she replies "Oh, sorry" and then she pulls the coffee cup out of the trash and hands it to my father.
So basically, not all of the South are hicks, but it seems no matter where I go in the South, I run into some hicks...I don't really have that problem up north. Besides hasn't it been proven by IQ and SAT scores and such that the North seems to score higher?
If you live in the south, don't take offense, unless you are actually one of the Bush humping, war hungry, cousin loving, english needing hicks.
1.) There was only 1 or 2 people, that actually answered my question. I responsed to a few people, but after that people just weren't answering questions, they were just babbling and running around in circles.
2.) I went into this election without a side. By studying the debates, checking the facts, seeing the country's situation for myself, and reading up on politics I made an informed decision to go Kerry/Edwards. It still boggles my mind today that Bush won. Sure politics is dirty, each candidate spews out crap, but Bush just keeps lieing to America, telling us that Iraq had all these ties and weapons that they just don't have. He won't even admit that he is wrong. The economy, healthcare, education all these other things are just going down the drain. I also find it odd that 200,000 black/hispanic voters couldn't vote this year because there registrations got 'misplaced' and all this crap. 190,000 of them Democrats. Hmmmm, nope, everything seems okay here.
3.) It's funny to hear people tell me I know nothing about politics, when half the people that I talk to are only democrat/republican because it's what there parents are, or it's what there friends tell them to do. People need to get a clue, and people need to do some damn research, and not belive everything the papers and movies tell them. I've read the papers and seen the movies, and I've gone out and found out whats fact and what's fiction.
4.) I never called you 'retarded', because that word was banned by the admins, I belive it was something like "mentally challenged" or "dumb in the head".
Think while it's still legal.
