I didn't make any racial, sexist remarks. And I am not insulting hicks, all I am doing is stating actual quotes that I have heard from a certain people, and stating my opinion. I'm sure if I said NAZIS SUCK, noone would care, but suddenly I insult a few southerners, which by the way I never called anyone in massassi a hick, I just said many southerners I've met are hicks. But the south as a whole I didn't call anything. I even said "Don't be offended, unless you actually are a hick" and people are being offended, so I won't say anymore on that matter.



I didn't personally attack a single person. If anything, I myself am being flamed and harassed for my opinion on a certain group of people that has nothing to do with anyone in massassi. My opinion was "I've been to the south, I've met many people, I think the south is full of hicks based on my experiences"

If you guys really want I can get all the educational stats etc. and prove my point of southern states having lower 'grades' (statistics?) then the northern states, but I am trying not to insult people here.

I'm sorry, but I live in the South, voted for Kerry, and agree that many people could benefit from learning proper english and a mandatory geography course, not to mention being told that the South lost the Civil War and the Confederate Flag means nothing more than bigotry.

However, SAJN, I find your comments to be totally inflammatory and insulting to people like me who live in the South. I used to be ashamed to be from the South or to tell people I lived in Georgia because I thought people would say I'm an uneducated hick, but I'm not an educated hick and I love most of the culture here... well, at least the metro-Atlanta area.... I can take small doses of South Georgia or Alabama.

I've been to almost every state in the Northeast and the Midwest and people are pretty much the same, it's just the accents and the hobbies are different. The same stupid blanket still covers much of the population and that's why Bush won, dont take it out on the South.

I have several friends in Georgia, one of which is an amazing student and he makes his own clothes, he can sew better then anyone I've ever seen, he has HUGE talent (some of you may know him as PhearTheSpork). I have a family of friends in Florida, and I have a friend of mine who designed the Tourniquet webpage, my website and I honestly belive that not a single person can design and edit better then he can..he lives in Arkansas. All of my friends in the south agree that there are many hicks living around them, but they themselves aren't hicks, so they don't take any offense at all when I talk about things like this.
