Yoshi:

Always so mean to me.

Think outside the box Yoshi. Look at the Bush wins thread alone, and you'll see democrats attacking Bush supporters. I heard it even today at work "There must be a lot of dumb ***es in the US to vote for a moron*

I don't follow your argument? Are you mad that the Republicans are attacking Kerry individually? Have you not freaking heard all the direct insults at Bush HIMSELF - not his administration.

Geez, think outside the box. Just cause you don't see it at your school doesn't mean it's not widespread.

And I'm not insensitive. The person who made this post is just too sensitive if he had to describe how it makes him sad people make jokes about people. *cries* So sad...I didn't realize the world was so cruel!!!

Get real people...

1) Your little "think outside the box" usage made you seem like an idiot

2) I'm angry that people are bashing other people based on their political views, yes

Please try to stay civil... -DSettahr

Have fun with that.

I'm not sure why you object to professors not sharing their political views in a classroom. It's equivalent to my physics professor saying, "The magnetic flux is equal to the line integral of B dot dA. Oh, and the Lord Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior, and anyone who does not believe in Him is going to Hell."

You're telling me you wouldn't raise a protest about that?
the idiot is the person who follows the idiot and your not following me your insulting me your following the path of a idiot so that makes you the idiot - LC Tusken

Daft, I know how you feel. Even before the election, my dad, who is a HUGE Republican supporter, kept telling me things like "No Democrats are Christian because they support abortion," or "I hope it rains all over the country today, because all the lazy Democrats won't bother to vote in bad weather. Republicans have ideals that we support, so we'll go out in the middle of a blizzard to vote." As if Democrats don't care about their country or their life. I have to tell you, this does not make me a happy camper. I'm still five years away from being old enough to vote! Even worse is the fact that my mom is a Democrat, so all of his rude remarks apply to her, too.
"It is not advisable, James, to venture unsolicited opinions. You should spare yourself the embarrassing discovery of their exact value to your listener."
"Rationality is the recognition of the fact that nothing can alter the truth and nothing can take precedence over that act of perceiving it."

So do I -- Kerry moved up a notch in my book. He's still way below Bush, though. :p

Just an FYI for you all -- this was the first time since 1988 that the President was elected with a popular vote majority.

I can't believe that some people are narrow-minded enough to have the "anybody but Bush" mindset -- that's so ignorant it's not even funny.
woot!

I wouldn't be too upset about that. In most cases it's just a catch-phrase, like "flip-flop." They don't literally mean they'd choose anyone over Bush. Of course, I'm sure there are a few wacko exceptions. ;)

People, please try to keep this discussion civil... for the most part, most of you are doing a good job, but we've already had to ban one person for breaking the rules in the post-election threads, I dont want to have to ban any more...
