And they say Bush supporters are morons.

I say if they want to move to Canada, let them. It's their choice, however misguided, and like the article said, only the most commited ones will actually wait through the immigration process.

as said before... Shh!! that's why we want them to leave!

I meant "moving" as in not having citizenship within the nation. If by moving, they mean a full cecession of all rights as a U.S. citizen...

...well, these people are even more stupid than I thought.

If Bush instates a draft, I'm more than willing to move and give up my rights as an American to stay out of war. I'm a pacifist, have never even gotten into a FIGHT, and believe that killing others isn't how I want to get ahead in life. Especially when it wastes my educational opportunities, and wastes any chance I would have had at getting a good job later on in life.

What country are you planning on moving too? I mean honest alot of countries like Canada will be quite willing to turn you right around and send you home where you belong.

As much as I wanted Kerry to win, I think too many people are overreacting.

I'd move to Canada and stay there, probably in Ontario or Ottawa because I have friends there. They wouldn't turn me down, either, as much as you say they would.

This would be in 2 years though, seeing as how I still have to become of age to even worry about the draft, and all that.

Yeah, Canada's quite a threat to the world, so we have good reason to hate them.

Maybe they just want to move somewhere their voice will be heard even if they're not part of the majority.
The music industry is a cruel and shallow money trench where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side.

<3 our system :)

The prime minister's party is in power with only ~44% of the votes. The other parties control 56% of the votes, meaning the minority voices (conversative 32%, new-democratic 6%, Québecois 18%) get heard.

for all you anti-bush folk who insist on crying:

actions speak louder than words

why not form a massive group, all crying in tandem, charge the white house and decapitate bush?

seriously... it could just work, not that i care, just seems like a better solution to your problems than spending another 4 years whining about the evils and tyranny of your government from the comfort of your internet enabled computer and reclining chair with 4 levels of vibration.

then you could maybe go to the tap, use your running water, maybe go to your room, give the roof and bed a nod of approval, then maybe turn on the central heating if you're too cold or the air conditioning if you're too hot.

is anyone else just laughing at the majority of people getting impassioned about this like an armchair politician who will gladly spend all their time *****ing and moaning without actually doing anything or being glad for what they have, just because someone is in power who doesn't do things the way they want them to.

well as some one brown whos lived in both the us and canada, i think id pick canada anyday because quite frankly there was a crap lot of discrimination. and before you start saying 'well what state were you in it varies by state' well thats not good is it. when one state is allowed to be a discriminatory (im not even sure if thats a word) state, just because?

Do you realize how many people I'd kill for one of those? I'm stuck on this rock hard pure wood thing that my condo gives us and calls it a chair.
Life is beautiful.

I am. They could be spending their time looking to make a difference, getting politically active (as in more than just voting), writing their representitives, encouraging others to do so, working on campaigns among other things, but they are content to cry and do nothing.

I prefer the U.S. over Canada because it's not filled with a bunch of beer-filled, brawling lugheads. And before you start saying, "Well, what province were you in," ask yourself this: why is it okay to judge an entire nation based on a few encounters with only a small sample of the population?
