.....And here come the moral relativists to say that no one can be completely wrong, even if you're the guy who practically invented modern terrorism, unless you happen to state an unfavorable opinion about that murdering *******. Then you must be wrong, according to the m. r. guys. :rolleyes:

I say, let him rot in hell like he deserves. And the media is trying to paint arafat mostly as a "freedom fighter" for "his people". The guy was a lying, terrorist thug, who stole his own people's money and foreign aid over the all the years, financed terrorist groups for attacks, deliberately destroyed any possibility of a Palestinian state numerous times, and created a culture of fanatic hate among "his people". This must be a "shining legacy" among middle Eastern countries. Arafat was many things, but a "freedom fighter" he is not.

I dont want to offend people...but just because he tryd to not give up anything of his land does not mean he is a good man. I mean, He was a fricking terroris. He killed more then 100 people, i think more then 1000. And he destroyd complete villages. I wont say he has always was a bad man. But you can never completly vorget the past.

you guys admit he was bad, some things ive read in this thread along the lines of him spawning modern terrorism, or funding terrorist groups. well now hes dead. sharon does the same stuff except well, he can do it with his army randomly as he pleases, and no one really questions why he did it. so by being thankful for arafat dying, is fine, but nowt hinkingt hat stuff is ok in that part of the world is st upid. more energy needs to be spent trying to get poeple like him n sharon off the highseat, not just waiting arond till they die. and after teh whole sadam thing, dont tell me american cant do it coz UN wont support it, or the world will condemn it or blah blah blah. maybe its just because nobody wants to.

people are dying. yet we're talking about the ones who're evil and hadit coming. what bout the ones who sit down for afternoon tea n then have some bomb dropped on their town. or those who just have afternoon tea wihtout a house and all.
