I love meat, although I do quite enjoy the odd vegetarian meal.
Rock is dead - but I believe in necrophilia.

The music industry is a cruel and shallow money trench where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side.

Well I'm Canadian and I've never heard of anyone actually eatting a Beaver but I can imagine the meat would be rather tough and no good.

Flex - with tons of cinnamon (sp?) and sugar, or with jam or fruit. Those things are awesome.

That's what Flexor was talking about, a "queue de castor" here in Québec. :)

Vegetarians and vegans are hypocrites, even if for religious reasons. Yes, Buddha was wrong. No, he probably didn't attain Nirvana. Yes, his followers, like Christians, are dumb****s that completely misinterpreted his message. The fact of the matter is, the grass that clumps up in the soles of your shoes is just as alive as a cow, a sheep, a human baby, or your president. Killing is a part of life. This includes cows and lions. The way we are as a species does involve eating meat, occasionally. Not necessarily everyday, but a considerable amount one to three times a week. However, I think that the animals and the grass that you eat need to be treated with respect, and you have to recognize that you lowlives are alive only because it gave its life to allow you to feed your assfat. And people who hunt for sport when there is so much meat available are apathetic, self-righteous, and impotent. If you are lost in a forest and need food, you can go and kill to stay alive. But do it respecfully. Everything else is ****.

First off, you're wrong. Absolutly wrong. If you don't know anything about the religion at all, don't say that they are wrong. Being judemental is a problem I see with many people, including you, and is one of the common things that start fights.

Just to clarify, Buddhist believe that life inside vegetables "reincarnate" or "leave" faster (Called Xue Ling by Chinese) from physical material left behind on Earth, than the life of any Chordata phylum species.

Killing is a natural way of life for survival. Not pleasure for "eating meat". We live in a world today where we can literally not eat any meat, because we have sources elsewhere to supply the neccisery nutrients we need.

Also, evolution (or if it makes you happy, your God) made it possible to eat meat for that survival reason again. Mammalia was only ment to eat vegetation. Years of evolution (survival of certain genetics allowing a special capability for survival) (or if it makes you happy, your God) changed the teeth for us to survive longer.

No, I'm not Buddhist, or Chrisitan. I'm just clarifying for you.

I think that it is hypocritical to readily kill something that you can't particularly relate to. If you can kill plants, then you can kill animals. Just out of curiosity, I wonder, what philosophical reasons you MentatMM have for not eating meat?

Personally I get more pleasure from eating fruits and berries than from eating meat. I also eat buckwheat and oats. I don't like the taste of pork or chicken; if I should choose a meat, it would probably be some fish. My family doesn't eat beef because of the way cows are treated (personally I recognize that most other animals are treated just as badly, if not worse).

I know plenty about all religions. I accept them and consider them all as my own. Just because something dies faster doesn't mean it doesn't die just the same. All I am saying is that it is wrong to assign arbitrarily a higher value for some forms of life than for others. It is completely understandable if you will not eat your own children, but you can't just pretend that it is perfectly acceptable to kill a tree you hardly even know.
