Mine checks out girls with me, and is usually the first to point out a really hot chick on the street or whatever. Yes, I'm aware that this is probably not the norm. It just seems like you're making alot of assumptions about the whole of the community, 99% of whom you probably haven't met in person. I think that's what is bugging the people who've posted about it. Don't just assume our g/fs don't like it, or that just because we post about how hot a person is means we're obsessed with them.

A lot of my opinion comes from girls from here (massassi) that I have talked to outside of the forum, who have even told me about this. Also, my gf doesn't mind me looking at other women, I've never shown any real interest in any one other than her. We've dicussed the good and bad of J Lo's appearance. As I said, I'm not opposed to looking at a girl's picture and saying "Hey, yeah she's a good looking girl". It's not that I'm commenting on. I'm commenting on the seeming "need" around here to go out, find half naked girls, or girls with cleavage popping out of their shirts, then people replying something along the lines of "OMG WOW ID DEFINATELY **** THAT ONE". It's disrespectful to the girl you're gawking at, and if you have a girlfriend, it's definately disrespectful towards them.

1.) Mine's not jealous or territorial. I don't care if she looks at celebrities and says "WOW HE IS HOT!", I know he will never take her away just like Lindsay Lohan will never take me away. If you know how to explain it to the girl, she won't get mad. I could watch porn and she won't care.

2.) People have commitment fears and phobias and what not. They are also sometimes too shy to get a girlfriend. Years ago I couldn't talk to a girl, hell, a girl could be running her hands down my arms, smiling and flirting and I totally missed it because I was too blind to see. People aren't able to just go get a girlfriend like that.

But at least make the effort. Girls don't really like shy guys.

You don't understand though. Being shy is something that can't just be "undone" like that. It seriously takes years of practice. When I was 12 I couldn't talk to girls. When I was 14 I could, but if a girl flirted with me, I'd run and hide. By 15 I could flirt. It wasn't until the past YEAR, and I'm 21, but it wasn't until I was 20-21 that I really began to NOTICE the signs girls give ok. Even now I have a hard time approaching people at clubs, mall, wherever and strike up a conversation. On occasion I can.

Imagine giving a speech in front of 150 people you don't know. That's something the majority of humans will pass out, throw up, piss themselves, whatever when it happens. THIS is how afraid some people can get when they meet girls randomly. It's not easy to just toss it aside and go "oh well". If and when they get rejected, it hits them DEEP and HARD.

I guess I'm just different then. Rejection scares me just like it does anyone else, but I've taken the approach that you'll never know nor have a chance, unless you take one.

Yeah, you have risen above that fear. I think the same thing too, and I sometimes have to pep myself up before I do it, and sometimes its too late by then. It just happens. People can't get over the fear. My mom is afraid of being alone. Whenever she's been left alone for the past 45 years, not once did anyone knock on the door, or try to break in. But still she is afraid of it. People just can't get over phobias because someone says "Well get over it."
