I base my FPS strategies on efficiency. I will kill you in the quickest way possible, and after you're dead, I will blow your carcass off of the catwalk to score another point (if you don't click-spawn fast enough, that's your problem, not mine).
I don't show mercy, and I'm not too proud to run away, due to the fact that often it's more efficient to gather health/armor than it is to die and start over with nothing.
I have a difficult time distinguishing between team colors, and I will shoot you straight in the chest/face if you even look like the enemy (if you're on my team, I will apologize). In other words, I shoot first, and ask questions later. Luckily, this tends to pay off for me, because most people are still trying to distinguish between the colors while I'm already mowing them down with my Lightsaber.
Sabers = Peace is fine and dandy, but the moment you move your mouse, or hit your direction key, I'll be on you like cheese on pizza, and I'm not worried about how you feel about it. I will then be waiting for you when you spawn, and I won't hesitate to stick a Rail Detonator to your face, regardless of whether or not you're unarmed (I've killed people with fists in real games, and they too are a weapon, in my mind).
When I'm alone, I'll do what I must to win, and when I'm on a team, I'll do what I must to make us victorious. Efficiency is the key to my strategies. I'm far from the best, in most games, but I enjoy the strategic element, and I strive to improve, each and every time I play.
P.S. Yes, I can sometimes be too serious about games, but the strategic factor is what makes it fun for me. When I'm just playing with m8's, I goof off just like everyone else.
