I've yet to go to a church that actually used wine. I know the taste of grape juice, because I love the stuff (when it's real). As far as I know, it's mostly Catholics that use wine.

It's not only Catholics... but isn't Catholic the biggest section anyways? (e.g. with most churches?)

Hence "mostly Catholics." It's hard to say if they're the biggest section, because many continue to claim to be Catholic if they've quit practicing it.

It's the largerest denomination amongst the Christian Churches.

Perhaps it's nothing more than a semantics argument, but I believe he was using "churches" as a way to describe denominations, not physical edifices.

If it matters, I know my church does the whole "grape juice instead of wine" bit.

In the end, it doesn't really matter. Grape juice and wine, as long as the symbolism is retained.
