Well, I just played CS:S (can't believe it runs on this POS). I love it. Can't wait for my PC to come back. I'll love it even more.

As you stated in one of these threads, Yoshi, to each their own. I like that. It's safe to say we like HL2 and dislike HL2 or elements of it. However, I fail to see how flaming and sarcasm is to reach someone. I must be one of the only people on this forum who absolutely despises Deus Ex 1 & 2. But that's only because I prefer more action, and the story didn't suit me. I liked it's concept, however!

Let's all take a step back, and say, "Ya know, let's point out our likes and dislikes, and not STATE what something is, when it IS in the eye of the beholder". Because, IMHO; That seems to ME to be what I'm seeing, and is what is getting people mad. That's just me, though. :rolleyes:

Actually, no. I own the game, and am currently attempting to play through the buggy sequence. Nice try, though.

I have to agree with Yoshi. Twenty minutes in Deus Ex isn't nearly enough to form a valid opinon of the game.

I would like to say this now:

CS: Source is one of the most flawed games I've had the misfortune to play. Valve seriously ****ed the game with its last "update."

I may be the only person with this problem, but I find the font in CS:S to be ridiculously huge. I don't need the HUD' to span half the screen, or to have the right-hand side of my monitor filled up by who-killed-who with equally huge icons. This is the only thing that bothers me especially about CS:S. That and the complete dissapearance of as maps.

There was so much to do and explore in DX; the story was also very interesting and mysterious.

Interesting, I had huge icons and font for a while, but I realised that it was when I had first changed resolutions, after a restart they went much smaller, about the sort of size you'd get in any fps.

Wow, thats a lot of problems. To fix the sound repeating all the time, type snd_restart in console. You may wanna bind that to a key if your getting this problem often.
I noticed that $1600 problem has only just started occuring since the latest update, and its a real shame too. I used to love the pistol round, but its not so fun when some peopl have better guns.

I could care less about the first three, don't know about the fourth though I heard the game was crap.

I don't know why everyone thinks I hate HL2--I just don't think it's all that amazing.

Yes, you're right, I only had that problem right after I changed resolution. Now that I restarted, it's fine. Odd! I'm glad.

Counterstrike Source has many, many updates to go before they get rid of all these problems.
But they will get there, just give them time.

Hmm, sorry to hear either A): Your hardware sucks; or B): The game isn't happy [compatible] with you right now, Wolfy! Oh, what an unfortunate turn of events...{SERIOUSLY} :( You have my deepest sincerities. Of course, I can see how there are many that don't like the CS update, but it will get better, hopefully. I, personally liked previous betas, but at least they took out the riot shield!! Hopefully time will heal this one...

I get that one too, but its only with the glock.

When people talk about that "sound loop" thing, do they mean they can still play, but its just a repeating sound? Or does it also freeze up and play that repeating sound. Because for me it freezes up and I have to restart... I thought it was because my machine couldnt take it anymore.
