Saving Private Ryan - No justification required
Fellowship of the Ring - Best everything of any movie ever
Schindler's List - No justification required
Return of the King - Pure awesome
The Good, The Bad, And the Ugly - So. Awesome.
Army of Darkness - Awesome.
Empire Strikes Back - No justification required.
Two Towers - It fits between the other 2 movies.
Die Hard - The antagonist is distilled awesome.
Payback - The protagonist is refined awesome.

Yeah, no order:

  • Jurassic Park
  • Unbreakable
  • The Shawshank Redemption
  • Star Wars Trilogy (let's call it a 3-way tie)
  • Spider-Man 1 and 2
  • Almost Famous
  • Interview with the Vampire
  • The Royal Tenenbaums
  • Forrest Gump
  • The Iron Giant

Some are more personal favourites than movies I believe to be the pinnacle of film entertainment.

I'm probably forgetting some I really like, too. [edit - Like the Back to the Future trilogy] [edit - and the Muppet movie] This is just what I could come up with after glancing behind myself at my DVD shelf.
