Btw, my character, Trillira is a level 17 (Almost 18) Druid on Skullcrusher in the Dirty Deeds guild (Which is why I have a tabard)

This sword here. Two hander

I use this as my one hander along with this shield. I would have much better gear, but I have been saving up since level 35 for my mount :o

To play as my race (Mithra), you have to play as a female. Mithra make the best rangers, so it was an obvious choice for me.

Plus she's hawt.

Mounts cost way too much... I'm at 32 with only about 15g and seriously wondering how the hell I am going to get to 100g.

You lie. You just picked Mithra cause you liked her. Humes have almost the exact same stats :p

90g if you have honored status in the city you are buying from. Mining is a great way to make cash, on my server, a stack of mithril bars go for 5+ gold , with iron bars bringing in at least a gold. Skinning goes well with mining as you can easily do both at the same time, just turn the find minerals skill on and kill/skin beasts as you hunt for the minerals.

More AGI and DEX (DEX is less important, but its good for raising TP with the +Rng Acc. -Acc rings) make a better RNG.

At level 75, a mithra has about 10 more AGI than a hume, which is a huge difference, espsecially against those HNMs

I thought you had to be Exalted to get a mount not your race...? Not that it matters, I want that Night Elf tiger mount :D

I could sell leather but then my leatherworking skill would suffer!

I was under the impression you couldn't have other races mounts at all yet.
At some point they are planning to change it to the exalted status thing.
Of course, that may have changed since I heard the news, it has been a while...

Don't have a picture at the moment, but i have a Level 46 Night Elf Hunter on Icecrown. Officer of the guild Lyons Gate(Wouldn't really call it a guild though). Will post a picture when the servers come back up.

Oh and it is possible to get a mount from another race but you need Revered status with them inorder to buy it. Which is impossible to get from what I've heard.

So, once it becomes possible, can Tauren then ride Steeds and whatnot? Because that'd look quite silly. Also, can Warlocks and Paladins get mounts, considering they can summon them anyway?

Yes, a warlock and pally can buy mounts, but there really is no point. A tauren would only be able to get mounts from other horde races, as long as you have either exalted or revered status, can't remember which.

The 90g is the cost after the 10 percent discount from having the "Honored" status.
