I carry an Armotech Zeus as my sidearm on the field -- its more reliable than any other marker I've shot. I've put around 800 rounds through it and I haven't broken one yet. Playing with a pistol makes you play smarter. Its like playing with a Talon pump on a speedball field against Angels and Shockers.

Why not just play with a pirahna or spyder of equal price value? It's at least 100x better... ROF, firing capacity, accuracy... They're just a waste of cash... I've gone through a case of paint without breaking many times...

It just seems too.. awkward, having a big giant... thing.. on top of your gun. I mean, I wouldn't know, I've never touched a paintball gun in my life. but wouldn't it upset the balance a bit? like, make it topheavy or whatever? Plus, It looks like it'd be harder to aim and stuff, because of the thing being in the way of the sites or whatever... and stuff. yep. kthx.</font>

you can still easily aim with a hopper. not to mention you can see your shots, so you can correct yourself easily... it's not like the paintballs travel so fast that you can't see them.

Yah, and most of the guns now have the hopper mounted directly on top of the gun so as to not upset the balance, i just bought a scope for mine, now to see just how well it works.

I use a Tippman A-5 with a flatline. It's great, but the damn cyclone feeds uses a hell of a lot of CO2. It's shoots like a wonder, though. I had never used a flatline before, and had heard lots of negatives about them (don't shoot straight/far), but they were all unfounded. This thing is great. I use my old spider Sonix as a sidarm, but it tends to get heavy carrying a few hundred paintballs and two guns, so I usually just leave it. I hate playing speedball, I prefer just running amok in a field, the woods, or desert (where it's free). We get up to 50 guys sometimes.
