Absolutelly no clue. I've heard of it far too many times for me to think it's not true, though. I don't often believe 'amazing' things like that, but it's really no miracle, it's just the will of the patient. I'm not saying it'd keep you alive through anything, I just know that it's able to get a person through a lot of situations that the doctors simply can't help with.

Just an update:

My parents called me from the hospital and the doctor says the surgery went great. My sister is spending the night in the Intensive Care Unit tonight (this is Friday night I'm talking about) so they can watch her to make sure everything is cool. After that, she will spend at least two more nights at the hospital so they can observe her (and I'm sure keep her pumped up with the really good pain killers).

My mom called me and was crying, but after that I heard from my other sister that my post-op sister was throwing ice at my parents (so she seems to be in good spirits). I'm going to print out all your comments and read them to her when I visit tomorrow. Hopefully it will bring a smile to her face.

I'll keep you guys posted, thanks a lot for all your comments, we all appreciate them.

Very sorry to hear this, Brian. Having a brain tumor, I too, needed brain surgery. But the good news is that after your sister wakes up, she shouldn't feel anything upstairs.

But everyone is different.

I wish her, you, and all your family all the best. Good luck....:(

Sometimes I really hate this world for all the bad things that go on.............

Edit: Glad to see everything is going great!!!! Tip, stay on your feet.
