Today I shaved...
2005-03-25, 10:42 AM #1
...with a razor blade. I applied shaving foam on my face and then...I just...used the blade to...shave...I'm almost 21 but I don't have a fully growing beard.

I'm at this gaming cafe where they have broadband, so I thought I'd let you all in on this.

Oh, and I'm home for the easter and going back to this psychiatric ward thing place Tuesday morning.
Looks like we're not going down after all, so nevermind.

my 5 'o clock shadow shows up at 3(ok stupid analogy, but you get what im saying). and im 16. if you knew my dad you'd understand. he can grow a beard like nobody's business. thanks a lot, dad. i hate it when guys only have to shave like once a week. and if i go more than a few days its like "shave, you friggin hobo"

I can go a few days without shaving. Furthest I'm willing to go is about a week.

Usually I shave every other day. The off days I have one of those Coldplay beards going when I just look like a hobo.

I've been shaving since I was 12. It sucks. I SHOULD shave every day, but I usually put it off to every couple days or so. I HATE shaving.

I probably shave once every 1.5 weeks. And then, I'm only shaving some very short hair where a beard would be and slightly longer hair where a mustache would be. That's how I like it. I don't want facial hair.

I can't go without shaving for more than 2-3 days before it begins to look a bit silly. At least the upper lip and under the jaw-line have to go in order to avoid what is known as "sähköasentajanviikset" or "amisviikset" (electrician moustache or chav-stache). Except for along the sideburns, it's still pretty sparse and light coloured.
If it breaks, you get to keep both pieces.

I usually shave about twice a week, and use an electric shaver in between to keep the beard down.

You should go for the real version of that one photoshopped picture of you with that huge beard.

And also, that hat you seem to always be wearing adds to the hobo-ness.

I've had to start shaving about half a year ago, I can get away with not shaving for a few days, then I start to look a bit dodgey, I love having fair hair though, it hides it loads more than if you've got darker hair where it's so obvious.

If I dont shave every day, it shows. I used to shave with an electric razor, but a year and a half ago, I finally swtiched to a regular razor (Mach III). It took a few weeks to get the hang of, but now nothing will ever convince me to go back to an electric razor.

I use a leccy razor because I'm lazy and all my mum'd get me are disposables. I have a weedy goatee and I shave every few days.

I want to see a picture of a shaven Kroko.
I'm just a little boy.

I shave about once a week because I'm lazy, and even then, I just trim with a beard trimmer. I'm only clean shaven on special ocasions.

I hate that mach III - you guys should check out gillete sensor - (NOT SENSOR XL). That's the most comfortable razor for me.

Generally I only need to shave every 2-3 weeks or so, maybe longer than that. Depends on how much hair I want on my face.

hehe, well any of you that have seen pictures of me recently will know that I don't shave. I do use a beard/mustache trimmer every day (or ever few days depending on how lazy I am), and my facial hair goes from barely there, to almost beardish.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

Damn my half-asian blood... I can only grow facial hair on my chin and on my upper lip (and a mole on my left cheek, unfortunately) so I will never know what its like to have a beard!!! At this rate, I'll probably grow one of those funky old asian pointy chin beards (what do they call those things agian?). :(

I used to use shaving cream and a razor, but now its all electric for me. Although the electric razors are expensive (like $50), they don't provide all the liquid mess.

My face hair grows so dang fast and I have to shave every day now to comply with my school's dress code.

I use a razor when I'm doing a full shave. If I dont have time I skim over my face with my electric one. I actually like the razor better...

I go through periods of shaving once every three days to maintain a smooth face, but somtimes I leave it for up to a month. I dont allow my hair to grow any old way, i trim it and style it. Usually allow my chin hamster to become beard like and bushy.

To trim it, i use a beard trimmer. Otherwise, if i want a smooth face, I use wet shave blades, u cant beat the smoothynessness. :D

I allow a stubbley growth on the sides of the face to accentuated cheek bones and jaw structure...

But u know what I hate? the fact that I cant grow side burns!!

The hair grows thick and then stops for an entire inch before my headhair grows...

I'm a freak!!! :(

well, I know that my old highschool didn't allow facial hair.

Although becuase they were so used to seeing my daily stubble I would end up getting away with shaving about half as often as I should have. I remeber during the last week of senoir year most of the guys kinda stopped shaving, and the last day the administration made like 10 guys go into the bathrroms to shave armed with just a Bic razor each. Myself with my obvious stubble and another guy that always had stubble were not amoungst that group and I've always laughed looking back, becuase realistically I should have been forced to shave.

School not allowing facial hair is so incredibly rediculous it pisses me off. I've never heard of that before, but I think my blood pressure just went up after reading that.

I should be shaving every day, but I hate it so much I usually wait a couple days in between. If I go 3 days without shaving, and I pluck a hair, its about 1/4" long.
2005-03-25, 7:59 PM #33
It's probably not that they don't allow facial hair, but that they don't allow their students to look scruffy and unkempt, and since it's a school, MOST of the students probably can't really grow real facial hair, so it's easier just to make them all shave. It's the same principle as uniforms.

I need to shave every 3-4 days, but I usually wait much longer. If I trim rough areas on my cheeks then I can get away with a bit of 'stache/beard/goatee.

I love shaving my face. I can shave without using a mirror. Needless to say, I shave every morning. If i don't shave I grow zits all over my face.

I have class on Tues/Thurs..so if I shave for work on Mon/Wed/Fri/Sat, I'm usually alright. :p
woot!
2005-03-25, 9:56 PM #39
Well I probably should shave everyday. But I tend to do it a couple of times a week. Usually on thrusday, so I'm shaven for the weekend. If I have some event that I want to look presentable for, I shave then too.

I can't grow a beard. I once went 3 weeks without shaving...and it never got past this sad looking 5 o'clock shadow stage. It just stayed there.
