Today I shaved...
2005-03-25, 10:21 PM #41
I just shaved, since I'm going into the city with a couple girls tomorrow. I hate it as well. I usually end up nicking myself at least once. Maybe it'll be different once I get the hang of this Mach III.

I'm afraid of shaving with a razor because my dexterity modifier is in negative territory. The numerous lacerations proved it. :(

That said, I look "scruffy looking" after a day. It's only noticible if up close. Usually on the weekdays I shave consistantly. Weekends I'm more relaxed.

I've shaved my legs bald...twice. It is NOT a pleasant feeling. Mind you I did this for track and field. I do not know how girls accomplish this DAILY.

I'm pretty sure shaving your legs won't make any impact on speed...

Yucky.

Shaving your legs will reduce air resistance when running. It's not much, but it helps a bit.

I should shave every other day, but I usually do it every 3 or 4.... I've been really lazy lately.

Body hair is the worst though.

I really don't need to shave all that often as I can't really grow any facial hair but a wimpy blonde (read: invisible) teenage-mustache and some hairs on my chin yet. Nevertheless, my parents tell me to every now and then, so I do.

Also, it's so much easier to just shave hairy moles than to pluck them. (Man I hate these things.)

Oh, if we are talking about bleeding after shaving, then I'm the winner. I always end up bleeding after I shave. Combination of poor technique and sensitive skin, I think.

Also, by beard comes in at a strange angle. It's hard for me to do a really good job and not feel kinda rough though. My friends say my chin feels like a spikey peach...whatever that means.

Do any of you use that new Mach III that vibrates, supposedly to make the hair "stand up"? I keep seeing commercials for that...

I pretty much have to shave against the grain, or I feel like sandpaper.

everyday or every other day, if you need to shave against the grain, you should soak your face in hotter water.

i dont understand all the people who cut themselves either, its pretty easy to not cut your face to shreds.

Hell know. I do bad enough with a regular Mach III, the last thing I need is any kind of electricity involved! o.O

For future reference: never pluck mole hair. Either shave it like you do, or clip it.
Looks like we're not going down after all, so nevermind.

Hmm...I just noticed that picture doesn't show all my blemishes. Oh well.

And by the way, my nostrils are only wide like that because I'm smiling. I mean, they're not normally as wide. :p

Once every week and a half to two weeks. My hair doesn't grow in evenly though... so sometimes the left half of my face is all "Eh. Shave me!" and the right half is all "mMmmm.. You can't see my hair!"

I hate my face. :p

I shave my face 1-2 times a week (I don't mind looking like a hobo), and my head/body once a month. In the cooler months, I let everything go wild.

it... wouldn't help......at all..... the difference in air resistance is negligible, unless your leg hairs bind together to form a sail that sweeps your feet out from under you.*
