I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Perhaps you just missed the point. The character was written pricker than in the book, but I think Sean Bean portray the role really well. If you don't understand the background, you don't probably understand the character. In that sense it would be better to watch first the whole trilogy, then the first part again.

I don't cry during movies, but Chasing Amy had me pretty close at times.

Ya, if you read the book, then you'd feel bad for him. Also, how can you think of him as a prick with the scenes of him in RotK? He wasnt a prick, he was tempted by the Ring.

No you're not!
The music industry is a cruel and shallow money trench where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side.

I forget which movies I had on the list last time, but here's a few that made me terribly sad. So far, the passion is the ony movie that has made me cry, technically speaking. These others were close.

ROTK
The Passion
Saving private Ryan
FOTR
Godfather Part III, poor Michael.

I know I had more before, but can't remember now. Must be my old age.

Wow...I cry during most movies! Probably the weirdest movie I cried during was Mortal Kombat (when Scorpion died.) I think the worst movie I cried during was Paulie....I cried through the entire movie. That bird was just too pathetic looking....

But yeah, the list is too long for me.
