Why do you like Masassi?
2005-04-07, 3:12 PM #1
Everyone is always hanging around here regularily. I want to know your reasons for coming back here all the time.

For me, it started out as a place to get mods and levels, but now I keep coming back because the forums are interesting and have topics that interest me (also, my friend took my copy of JK, and I accidentally uninstalled it). I can talk about things like videogames, where places like MSN, my friends don't always wanna talk about that stuff.

Post why you like Massassi.
Very funny Scotty. Now beam down my clothes.

I dont.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

My main reason...that and, as compared to other message boards, people on here at least make an effort (I think >_>) to use grammar and correct spelling...

...this is going to come back to haunt me isn't it?

Massassi is my crack because people post news all the time, and it's filled with Star Wars nerds.
2005-04-07, 7:51 PM #18
But I'm not really into SW that much. :(

1. While we do have a sort of main 'focus' in the community being based on JK editing, most of what goes on is strictly social.

2. Strict rules, so nubs can't just register, start flaming, and destroy us.

3. Lack of an official ranking system, so not too much elitism or abusive adminism.

4. Swear filter/language regulations.

5. The hot chicks.

I like the (now waning) debates and intellectually stimulating threads. It's fun to discuss politics, science, morals and other issues with you guys. Especially guys like Ictus, Wookie, Mort, and others. Also, Massassi is highly amusing, of course.

I like it because it's pretty much the only civl forum I've ever found.
2005-04-07, 8:29 PM #24
The community here isn't so big that you don't get to know the regualrs and it isn't so small that it's the same people posting the same thing all the time.
Pissed Off?
2005-04-07, 8:41 PM #25
Because it's a smaller community that's built around many of my interests. (Star Wars, video games, etc.)
2005-04-07, 8:43 PM #26
Because I liked it when I was eleven and now I can't get it out of my mind, some 5 years later.

Because frankly, this is the only place where people can at least see comments, not just mine, even if they dont' like them.

Any other larger SW forums, your thread is bumped down to the 7th page in 7 minutes.

They play good music here, the beer isn't watered down, the spirits aren't too pricey, there's no speed limits, and the beautiful girls outnumber the guys 2:1.
