I just ordered a Creative Zen Micro 5gb last night.

So, everybody, post your MP3 players (or CD players if you aren't all cool and trendy like the rest of us).

My MP3 player > yours (at least in terms of size and weight):

I guess you could say it can hold up to 700 megs... I got this sometime in 2001; the LCD is broken, there's something messed up with the motor (it makes weird noises when it's spinning); it has a tendency to skip horribly unless it's on a perfectly level surface with no vibration whatsoever... however, it does have an amazingly long battery life (15+ hours on 2 rechargeable AAs). And it's handy if you just want to play regular CDs.

I <3 my MP3 player.

I got nothin' because I'm poor.

So I just use Real Player Premium on my computer. If I need to hear it around the house, I just crank my speakers up. :p I rarely listen to music while moving around anywhere anyway.

4 GB iPod mini. 914 songs on it at the moment, which is more than enough for my tastes.

Love the tiny-ness and the really nice battery life, especially since I use it a ton.

Well if we're gonna get technical:

Winamp Pro (with plugins to rip into OGG and FLAC)
Nomad Muvo 128mb (awesome for working out)
Dell Axim X50
and of course the new Zen Micro

Can't wait til that thing gets here.

Lucy!

512mb iPod Shuffle. New, and I got it for half price. Calling it Lucy was the idea of a female friend of mine. I haven't got ANY idea why, but it stuck.

It's small, it plays 12 hours of music, and it doubles as a nice little USB drive. PERFECT for me on campus. Say what you will about it, but I love it. I jack it into the computer every morning while I have breakfast and put everything I want to listen to during the day on there.

Once I get done buying all the other crap on my list of "important items to have" and I get money, I'm of course buying a Mini. But until that time, I'm MORE than satisfied with Lucy here.
