I disagree. Molesting children? Serial murdering? Yeah, forgive me if I want to call it off when I find out they've been doing that. Also, I don't like the acts of smoking and drinking. It doesn't mean I don't like the people. I'd rather not have my life shortened by a smoker or something, thanks.

There's a difference between doing something to yourself and doing it to other people, so your examples are bunk. Just being in a relationship with a smoker doesn't shorten your life at all, and if it was a normal, healthy relationship she'd respect your wishes enough to not smoke around you.

I prefer girls who can breathe without being connected to a respirator, but that is not a requirement.

Red curly hair.

But hair isn't a good reason for me to go out with someone. I don't like simple women, but at the same time, I don't like really complex women, and I especially hate it when women pretend to know stuff about you when they know darn well they don't.

There's no reason I say that, of course.

>.>
<.<

And I prefer women with talent (a.k.a. musicians, at least).

...hey, I'm a very complex man. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go watch Spongebob.

What a person does is a big part of who they are.

Methinks Zully was trying to get at something along the lines of:

'Saying things like 'I won't date someone who drinks' is silly.

He was not trying to say 'It doesn't matter what they do at all, you should like them anyway'.

Because that is equally silly, and we all know Zully isn't picky, he's a big man-whore! :p

Something like smoking is a turn off to me, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't date someone who smokes if I was really into the girl.
Pissed Off?

Exactly, Izzy smokes when she's out, and she's giving up after exams, but it doesn't bother me. If I'd decided that I wouldn't go out with a girl who smokes I'd be seriously missing out! :D

Meh, what simple things do you all like?

Oddly enough when I was dressing this morning I thought of you.

I'll also only date a woman who takes care of herself. That covers a wide range of things, but mainly someone who's taking care of their health.

A girl that likes cars, and is still cute :)

Unfortunately most of the "car girls" I've seen look more like "car guys".

Oh yeah, what he said.

Also, a girl that knows when the hell to shut up! My ex would talk until YOU were blue in the face. Most of the time I could ask her what she was talking about and she would have no clue. That got old after four years....

I'm not sure who you think you are to criticize someone for their preferences concerning such an issue. He doesn't want a girlfriend that smokes marijuana or drinks. It's his personal choice.

Agreed.

And Dominik--beauty is in the eye of the beholder. So behold your own crap, and stay the hell away from the hotties I look at ;)

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

What "perspective" might you have in mind? If you're implying that I have had very limited exposure to attractive women you're sorely mistaken. I find that girl very attractive, and I'm not alone. If you disagree that's fine, but don't try to tell me I'm wrong. It is opinion after all.

That is aimed at anyone who makes comments like that, including Dominik.

Because if you are the media definition of perfect, you should get surgery to 'fix' it.

I'd post a picture of my "ideal guy" but I can't find one :P
