I haven't seen any screenies or videos of the performance of these consoles (unless I missed them). Thus, judging on what to buy without seeing what they are able to do and what games they will feature seems like a dumb idea.

If I had more money, likely all the systems I can get my hands on. Since I do not, however, and since I'm a Nintendo fanboy, I would get the next-gen Nintendo system.

None, because I'm both poor and no longer play many video games.

OK, maybe occasionally. But not often enough to spend money on a new console.

I'm not brand-loyal when it comes to consoles, so I'll just wait and see which is objectively the best for what I want to do with it.

It depends. If a new Super Smash Brothers is announced, I'll buy the Revolution as soon as possible. Otherwise I'll probably buy a PS3 at first, then get the Revolution later.

PC is enough for me. I have never had a console, and don't see any reason to change that situation. If I miss some great games because of that - well, such is life.

PS3, since rumor of the mill is that it's far more powerful than the X-Box 2, and Nintendo...well their last console was what one might call extremely disappointing.

The Cube was actually a good console for pulling off some graphics. The reason it failed is because a lack of good and online games.


For me I'm sticking with the PS3 for now and might get another console in the future.

I didn't mind the cube... it wasn't the greatest system on the planet but it was hardly the worst.

With my computer, I; listen to music, play games (mostly Civ3, I'm an addict), watch tv, talk to people, do illegal things with DVDs, record old LPs, and pretend I know how to use Linux. Most of that time is time I could better spend doing something else as it is... nope, no console for me.
...besides, I'm really poor.

The Revolution will be backwards compatibile with the GameCube. :)

Final Fantasy has pretty much gone down the crap-hole. The only console I would consider getting is whichever one will have Metal Gear Solid 4 (and it better be directed by Hideo Kojima).

Tonberry--Final Fantasy is fine, I just don't like the direction it's taken. Maybe it'll come back in # 12.

Also, it was announced years ago Hideo would stop at 3.
