I'm not too sure about that. First, it looks exactly like the lamprey pic. Second, the thing clearly has a fleshy throat. No plant I've seen has that.

It looks like the source was a lamprey to me.

Lamprey's are actually really nasty critters, one of the only kinds of jawless fish left. They latch onto larger fish (lamprey are parasites) and literally grind away with they're teeth.

To me, that's a lot scarier than some obviously faked photoshop.

*shudder* I knew it was photoshoped the first time i saw it (really, doesn't anyone else here have at least a rudimentary knowlage of physiology?), but still that pick is distrubing... *shudder*

Its a photoshop of a lamprey mouth put on two fingers. They also seem to have put teeth on there, too. Its jsut a disturbing photoshop, nothing more

Okay, look at the skin around the lamprey mouth. It looks like it has seams. Could be phtotshopped, but I think it's also possible that someone glued lamprey mouths onto their fingers. The excess glue would create those seams.

No, it's fake. Skin can't just fade in, the way it does in the picture. This is especially evident on the finger on the right.

Also, who glues a lamprey mouth to their finger? :p

It looks like the original photo was somebody showing off some nasty blisters. Probably from guitar or something. That's why the skin looks all messed up.
