It was thursday night and I had no school at all on friday. So really I dont have a bedtime set when I have no school the next day. I got grounded from almost everything just because it was past 9pm talkin to a friend of mine. I might not be able to play football next year (lol see if that really happens), cant receive ims on aol no more for a while, was on mature teen on aol, now i am down to KOL. (YePPIEEE......shoots self in head) I might not be able to go on a school trip this friday with this group i am in, NJHS, we are going paintballing. Cant use the phone for a while, only have 1 hr online a day at a time, and i cant use aim, yahoo, or msn messenger to connect, cant play anyonline games, she took off all my games on the comp, she forgot avp2.

Sucks big time, just because i was on the phone a lil late

I seriously though my parents were evil...but wtf!? All because you were on the PHONE A LITTLE LATE!? Jeeze...that's just purely evil...but the worst I've ever had is no TV, PS2, GCN, computer, or any other thing video game related or entertainment related for about 2 weeks...but I read about 4 novels in that time span :P
I had a blog. It sucked.

I was told by my dad to fix my mom's laptop, because her wireless connection seems to be crapping out.

I spent 8 hours on it yesterday, two the day before, and 1 today. I finally gave up and took a nap. So now I am to be punished because I cannot fix it. This probably includes taking away my computer for one week or even until I leave, taking away all privileges until I leave, etc etc. I move out May 25 (thank you GOD). This probably means I won't get to have these last few weeks to hang out with what few friends I've made here and wrap things up.

I swear to god, when I'm leaving, I'm going to give my dad a good "**** YOU" for all the **** I've put up with.

You wont say anything. If you havent stood up to your dad yet, you wont do it then either.

Even if you did, why wait until you dont have to face the possible reprecussions of doing so? It only shows how much of a pushover you are. If your dad is as bad as you say he his, then its no wonder he's so oppressive because it sounds like you let him walk all over you. You need to stand up for yourself now, even if that means reprecussions from pissing him off.

/me points and laughs at all the people who get punished

Since I was 17 my parents pretty much let me do my own thing. They know they can trust me so it's no big deal. It's been a great 4 1/2 years. I'm moving out in 6 days though, FSU here I come.

he he....
Don't mean to rub anything in, but the worst I got was having my legos taken away for a week (when I was little, mind you), and then they gave them back to me before three days was over because they thought I was being "good". He he. It was actually kinda funny.

I hope your parents become more strict.

Seriously, I'm gonna be a tyrant to my child(ren). I won't beat them into submission, but they will MOST DEFINITELY know that I'm the parent.

Sure, but this isn't punishment, it's called being sadistic.

The only thing my 'rents moan at me for is being on later than 10:30 on a school night. Which is understandable, even if I can't get to sleep until about one-ish.

I say tell them off when they don't wield your entire economical situation, computer access, TV access, basically your life. Would you tell a guy with a gun pressed against your temple to **** off BEFORE or AFTER you realise he doesn't have any bullets?
Yeah, you stay here and take life seriously. I'll go and have some fun.

No, he doesn't understand what he's implying. Pissing off my dad does not include taking things away anymore. He stopped doing that a long time ago when he gets angry. Now he just does it when I 'step out of line', or 'do something wrong' which aparrently includes not knowing enough about computers to fix my mom's laptop.

Can't remember the last time I was punished, either i'm a good kid or my parents have given up on me.
nope.

In an attempt to make me like physical activities, my parents used to put a 2-hour limit on my computer time.

Now I'm a CS-going-IT major.

But the whole "grounded-for-talking-after-9-PM" thing sounds quite unreasonable. Did they even give you a warning - i.e., "It's 9 PM - get off the phone now"?

^ that aint funny, i had a firend take it too far once.

my parrents dont punish me anymore, and the most thay ever did was take away my CD pklayer for like 3 months (i was really angry at them for that, because i boght that CD player with my own $ and it was the most expensive thing i owned at the time), now even if thay wanted to punish me i dont think thay could for the simple reason that : what ever thay did, i wouldnt let it bother me/ i would searusly move out and my dad doesent want that to happin.
Laughing at my spelling herts my feelings. Well laughing is fine actully, but posting about it is not.

I have an idea.

READ A BOOK and quit being so freaking dependant on the computer.
2005-05-02, 5:12 PM #36
i am depentant, sort of, on the comp, because right now its the only way i can talk to people, i havent played games in a month on this is thing which is a WoW for me. I mainly talk to school friends, friends from games i met, friends i just met online in general. Also i live in this lil town in TX that has nothing to do their and all the other towns are not in biking/walkin distance and my mom wouldnt let me go anywhere if any towns were.

alright AVPwhateveryournameis, I lost internet for a WHOLE SIX MOTNHS BECAUSE OF A VIRUS AND I COULDN'T REFORMAT THE COMP! OMFG! Oh, wait...that was a GOOD thing. I realized there's more to life than people online, whom most I don't even know. I got a life, and the computer stayed off for nearly the whole six months, and it felt GOOD! Maybe you should try that, and just get a life instead of complaining on massassi about it. Yeah, sureit was unfair of you parents, but maybe there's MORE TO IT!? maybe they wanted and excuse to get you off the computer and into the *gasp* fresh...*DUN DUN DUN* AIR!? *cowers* Take advantage of it, go outside, have fun, and just talk to those people at school and forget the ones that you only know online! Jeeze!
