The Yeti, Bigfoot, Loch Ness Monster, Chupacabra.....

Whilst I was surfing the web, I stumbled upon one of these sites that deals with all these creatures. Of course, it provided some excellent pictures of A. People in suits, and B. Animals with crap glued to them. My question to you people is, do any of you believe that these creatures do in fact exist?

Bigfoot is a proven fake.

I think that Yeti, Bigfoot don't exist. The traces were just pranks. However, I think that a sea monster exists, I'm not sure of its location. I'm actually pretty sure there is something close to Nessie in the ocean. I once saw on TV that there's a a really large dinosaur-like thing moving really deep in the ocean. The ocean's so deep, and we don't know what creatures lurk there.

But not in the Loch Ness lake, this lake would be to small and not deep enough.

I'd be inclined to think that there could be something so gigantic beneath the water.

How do you know? Did anyone go so deep? There's already monstruous creatures that live not so deep, imagine at the bottom...

Also, in the TV show, they said that the monster was swimming in the Pacific Ocean from Canada to Mexico (depending on the season), and specialists got the sound that it produces, it's like a really sharp annoying sound.

I think that there probably IS something deep down in the ocean.

And nessy in that lake is probabyl a dramatized version of a mutated animal. I say this because so many people could not have claimed they saw a similar creature BEFORE it became an urban legend. I'm sure it's probably just a lake-shark or maybe a lost manate or something like that.

And Yeti's... I don't believe there's any real footage of it, but I'm sure there's a species of bear, or a woodland monkey or something that we don't know about. I have no proof, but I and my grandfather have seen odd things in the woods in canada on more than 5 occasions in an area people claim a yetti is. None of these things were man made considering my grandfather's JOB is to track animals and humans alike (Rescued people in nam and came back to america to be a forest ranger doing the same thing). We've saw scratches that no bear could make (Very spaced appart and very specific. The creature had to be getting something out of it's NAILS, not hooves or claws. The scratches are obviously a hand shape of sharp but braud things). We've found VERY human droppings in places that are completelly deserted of humans, and there are kick marks where the creature attempted to cover it up. As well, we've found sort of hanging animal carcasses in places bobcats haven't been in 40 years. All of these things ARE explainable with the possibility of mountain lions sneaking further down the revein (Their claw marks are very similar to human hands) but still, the smells and lack of animal footprints in mud and other signs of those same animals that COULD be leaving the signs are missing. Bobcats tend to have many dens in an area. Same with mountain lions. We've found none.

There are a CRAPLOAD of caves up in the mountains and no one could have been in all of them before.

Still, it's unlikelly since we've been here so long, they would have probably been descovered already. Still, the signs I've seen with my own eyes don't look like any animalistic sings I've seen so many times before. I'm still a skeptic.

Learn to read.

I was agreeing with your sentiments.

The most interesting photos I remember seeing were of the Zuiyo-maru carcass, probably the most famous picture of a supposed plesiosaur. Out of all those animals, if any were to exist it would be a plesiosaur. I mean, we have explored what, 9% of the ocean? It almost seems silly to think something like this isn't out there. Here is that pic for reference

And for general info, here's the link from whence it came. http://paleo.cc/paluxy/plesios.htm

Hahahaha. Sorry, I misread your post. I can't read.

And jEDIkIRBY, I don't actually think there's another type of animal, I think, in your case, that it would be a deformed bear or something, people would notice if it cam in the woods.

Of course, once the paranormal is proved to exist, it ceases being paranormal and just becomes normal.

But theres well documented evidence to back paranormal findings.

This has nothing to do with the paranormal. This is cryptozoology.

It doesn't seem unlikely for there to be species of great apes that haven't been discovered - especially since a new species has been discovered recently (do a google search for "mystery apes"). They seem like a cross between chimpanzees and gorillas.
Credible scientists have said it's possible (though not very probable) that Homo floresiensis still survives somewhere.

I think it is not TOO extreme to say that some of these things exsist. after all, we are discovering new animals every week... The giant squid was a myth until recently (1980s or 90s they were discovered).. also I remmeber seeing a show on the discovery channel saying they got to analize some hair from a bigfoot sighting and it didn't match any known primate.. it was probably just some new spieces of gorilla, but who knows, that could be what people are seeing and calling it bigfoot.. and new type of gorilla... I think only time will tell...

That seems to be an aquatic dwelling animal, and thus it cannot survive outside of the water on dry land without dying. This is why that picture must be fake.

Your statement is WRONG. The evidence shown so far might say there is no bigfoot, but it is not proven he does not exist. It's no different than saying there is evidence saying God, Angels, Fairies, King Kong, Godzilla are not real. Or ghosts. There may be or may not be, but so far no evidence saying there is.

Civilization didn't believe in a gorilla existed until almost 1850, they thought gorillas were not real.

The exact Bigfoot from the myths does not exist. (I believe the maker of the myth said so him/her self) That doesn't mean that there arn't creatures that are EXACTLY like the one described. It just means that the bigfoot we know of doesn't exist outside our imaginations. (Just incase someone actually hoped to learn something from this thread :))

The people shot the infamous footage, that started the search for bigfoot admitted it was all a sham not too long ago.

Rob, again, your ORIGINAL statement is WRONG. Wheather or not the people admitted the original "evidence" was fake does NOT mean there is NOT a creature out there that is "like" Big Foot. Just that the ORIGINAL video of Big Foot is fake.
I can't think of anything to put here right now.

It's more likely a heavily decomposed basking shark.
