Its the part that says:

s=70143bb51.....

If someone else clicks on the link before the session expires, they become a part of that session, and to the server it looks like they are logged in as you. They then can post as you, modify your cp, etc.

I kinda slacked off, but I still use the FTP account to maintain a full backup of the files server.
