I'm still on dial-up and I don't have a problem with having images in signatures as long as they are a reasonable size (maybe 20kb) and I dont have to h-scroll to see it.

If there was, we would probably allow them. These forums dont have that option, however, so until we upgrade to forums that do, they wont be allowed.

Yes it would be nice if we could - and if there was an option not to show them, so people who don't want to see them can simply turn it on.

All I can say is you guys are a just a bunch of stubborn hooligans stuck in the past. Haven't any of you been to any decent forums that *aren't* ten years old? Avatars, picture sigs, restricted HTML.. it's all quite nice to have.
