FFXI has come along way, After I played it, I non-stop bashed it. But they have been updating like nuts, and the gameplay has gotten a lot better. SWG is also updating like crazy...only took them a year, I still play it sometimes and I still hate it. Lineage 2 I like, and I haven't played the WoW Beta, but according to people that have played it, it's a blast.

The difference is, that FFXI was good from the start (In the states that is, I dont really know much about it when it was japan only), SWG was not

Ok Whintt, this is what you're going to do:

1. Shut off the computer. If you can't figure out how, it's that grey button on the large worshiping stone next to the monitor.
2. Stand up. Your legs may be a bit shakey, and some food might fall from your lap. This is normal when you haven't moved for 8 years. Now, turn on the light. If your not blinded by the light, it's reflection off your skin will. Take a few hours to adjust your eyes to this new concept of reality.
3. Go to the bathroom. You may have to print off a manual on bathrooming before you go, but in any case, you're going to need to figure out how to go to the bathroom. It might take some practice, but it'll be well worth the effort.
4. Go up to the large square shaped object in your home. This is a door. You may have opened a few in a game. There are no spacebars in real life, so you'll have to wrap your pudgy fingers around the knob. Turn the knob and pull towards yourself. Prepare yourself for a shock. A fully 3D world, with real bump-mapping and the most amazing physics engine you could ever imagine. The stuff on the ground is grass. The blue stuff, that's the sky. The white things in the sky? Those don't bight(TM). They're clouds.

Galaxies I think is so far a good game. But they realesed it really crappy. the first impression you got. A space farced community With no vehicles. I felt like it was the mid evil days. Well now I feel bad for the beta testers.

It looks pretty good. But it doesn't look at all like Galaxies. Like someone above said, it looks more cartoonish, whereas galaxies you could really see that, if you took away the GUI and put on blinders so you could only see the screen.. it looked like it could be real. (If you had the res/details up higher then the lowest end).

Graphically, Galaxies was amazing. Superior to many other games. Graphically, this game has a few things over SWG, they aren't really comparable.

Though this is completely off topic, I REALLY hope Blizzard doesn't make the next StarCraft game(not Ghost) cartoony. Hopefully they'll stick to the darker, grittier look found in the StarCraft cutscenes.

Indoor environments in this game are far superior to those found in Galaxies. And the combat is cooler too.
