This thread is pretty much for practical purposes. Don't bother sending me pms, I probably won't be checking them. If you want to contact me, you know where to find me.

I wish I could say it's been a great 5 years, but the truth is, I've just gotten sick of this community, and of the rampant hostility and idiocy that reigns here these days. I've already stopped chatting in #massassi a few months ago, and this is just the next logical step. When I first joined, the community was warm and welcoming - but I just don't find that here anymore.

Anyways... Goodbye massassi!

I'll miss you. I think the community may be a bit hateful (and I probably helped not too much) but it's still a good community. It's still got a lot of good people in it, and, especially in the chat, this shines through.

The debate threads all seem to end even more horribly every time a new one is made though. Perhaps I should stop posting in them...that'd help ;)

Will miss you, hopefully will talk to you sometime, because I know we share a love for Starcraft and good techno music. Farewell, flex, and I hope you achieve great status as a DJ.

Ach, Flex, one of the first blokes I knew from #massassi, I think. Your name stands out in any case. Too bad to see you go, and I, for one, wouldn't mind to see you dropping in at #massassi from time to time.

Either way, nice to have known you, and maybe we'll meet again. T'is but a small world after all.

I can understand the "idiocy" but I don't think Massassi has "rampant hostility" (except in a few silly debate threads.)

I don't try to fix the chat anymore because the vast (and I mean vast) majority of people there disagree with me. They want to curse and insult and say vulger things. Even when I do do something about it, they wait till just after I log out and just resume what they were doing before I showed up.
