The fact is, most people use "geek" and "nerd" interchangeably. The few people who separate them do so based on arbitrary and often contradicting sets of definitions. You have even helped to prove this by giving definitions that aren't consistent with the ones given earlier in the thread.

a geek, i guess. a 100% geek for the time being 'cuz i somehow damaged my leg dancing pogo last night, and now can barely get up from my chair, and walking... OUCH. just "ouch".
