I'm getting sick of games using HUGE BOOBS and SUPER SEXAY BODIES WITH OMG ANIME LOOKS! It's getting old. Like In Unreal Tournament 2004, How are ripped pants and cleavage going to protect you from a rocket?!?

The advertising and marketing on this game has been horrible. Announcing it just before releasing WoW, then not being able to work on it because of WoW, passing it from one design team to another...

But the game looks awesome. Especially the MP. If they ever frikkin' finish this game, I'm buying it.

Don't give them ideas maevie! Watch Unreal Tournament 2007 have cleavage deflecting rockets left and right. There wont be a need for a shield gun anymore!!!

Have you checked the in-game screenshots and videos? They look pretty on-par with the WC3 stuff they did.

Anyways, it's not them doing it.

Although it is stupid-looking, it's part of the genre of senseless frag fest entertainment with wild skins (huge guys and scantily clad women) and lots of action. Ya know, Quake and UT, pretty much the same thing.

As for Ghost, it looks too cartoonish.

I would give almost anything for a game that looks just as dark and scary as Starcraft did in the cutscenes, and gameplay. Especially if it played from the point of view of a marine.

So basically, I want a starcraft game (ON THE PC, none of that whooshy console crap) as an FPS, playing out the original game or maybe some new campaign from first person. :D

Yeah, I'm not seeing any anime style art here at all. Even that drawing on the side isn't anime. Why don't you take a look at that thing on the lower right side, with the heading "screenshots"? It sounds like you're basing your entire opinion of the game on that drawing. If you want to bash the game, at least find a credible argument.

I don't think morf ever said he liked it...or even that he'd PLAYED it.

And I don't see how she looks like a cheap whore when the only thing you can see is her face. I mean, I can see quite a few of the UT2k4 peoples...but seriously, nova's just a lot of body armor, a face, and a weapon (maybe)...not much to look whorish there.

I vehemently agree with SAJN. "cheap whore" isn't the right term, though. Perhaps "complete bimbo". She was designed to be nothing more than a sex object. An entirely sexualised and objectified character on the same level as porn models.

As a matter of fact, I don't like Nova's image. I think drawing characters like that is nothing more than a cheap marketing tactic.

And why not here? Because it will do absolutely nothing and is nothing more than worthless spam. I seriously doubt this thread was created with the intention of being space for people to whine about how a character looks.

Seriously, Blizzard has a right to make a character however they please. You, however, have absolutely no right to tell them how to make it.

Sorry, but no. He has no stake in the company nor is he an employee. Don't try to justify his pointless bickering.

And I don't really care if you *think* his complaining is more admirable. That's coming from someone who apparently thinks characters wearing tight armor and clothing is on the "same level" as porn models.
