Today is Canada Day, and seeing as I worked a holiday, I get double and a half of my regular pay.

So in brief, today I made $460.

Happy Canada Day! :D

As a student I'll get all of my taxes back in April. :p

$230 in ONE DAY is still pretty damn good for a student job.

I'm getting time and a half for 'working' today also. By work, I mean spend an hour or so pulling weeds, then the rest of the day scarfing back sandwiches and drinking wine, still being on the clock. Best Canada Day ever:D

No..I think it's the day the USA tried to invade Canada and we beat them back easily :p

You must be talking about the French and Indian War, when Canada wasn't even a country yet.

And when I went to Ask.com to find something, it had Jeeves waving a Canadian flag and some text saying "Happy Canadian Day". :em321:

Eh.

I couldn't resisit...sorry.

Eh.
I had a blog. It sucked.

I used to like this song back in the day.

welcome to canada
its the maple leaf state
canada, oh canada
its great
there people are nice and
they speak french too
if you don't like it man--you sniff glue
the great white north
their kilts are plaid
hosers take off
its not half bad

i want to be
where yacks can run free
where royal mounties
can harass me

let's go to canada
let's leave today
canada, oh canada
i s'il vous plait

they've got trees and mooses and sled dogs
lots of lumber and lumber jacks and logs
people think its kind of a drag
that you have to go there
to get milk in a bag
they say "eh?" instead of "what?" or "duh!"
that's the mighty power of canada

i want to be where lemmings run into the sea
where the marmosets can
attack me

lets go to canada
lets leave today
canada, oh canada
i s'il vous plait
lets go to canada
lets leave today
canada, oh canada
i s'il vous plait

will you please explain to me
how this all has come to be
we forgot to mention something here
did we say that william shatner
is a native citizen
and slurpies made from venison
that's deer

lets go to canada
lets leave today
canada, oh canada
i s'il vous plait
lets go to canda
lets leave today
canada, oh canada
i a'il vous plait

Yeah, I mean...it was only how many hundreds of years ago? Back then you weren't even canadians, just a lotta frenchies who sold pelts and said "Eh?"
